Guido Nijs

Guido Nijs started playing alto saxophone at the age of twelve. He studied alto and tenor saxophone at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with teachers Jan Menu and John Ruocco, but plays the soprano and baritone sax as well. After the Conservatory he studied with the famous Yellowjackets saxophone player, Bob Mintzer, in New York.
